We have two hardware options for our Hot Spot:

• Our Simple Hot Spot Gateway - comprising of an Access gateway and applications software. This is ideal for a hotel lobby area or clubs and cafes where an open area is available to customers. We will supply you with access vouchers to sell, or your customers can pay by credit/debit card or PayPal.
  
  
• Our Hot Spot Server System - which provides a greater Hot Spot area covering several floors. This is ideal for hotels where wireless access is required in all rooms. We will supply you with access vouchers to sell which can cover any period from one hour to the duration of the guest's stay at your establishment.

Our Simple Hot Spot Gateway comprises of:

• Programmable Wireless Hotspot Gateway.
• Software to run the Gateway.
• Gateway administration.
• Free installation.
• A constant supply of access vouchers.
• Help desk support by telephone and email.
• Replacement of defective equipment within 24 hours.
• Quarterly service calls to check the equipment.
• Your establishment listed on our website as an Internet Ready.
• A basic website (hosted by us) if you don't already have a web presence.
• Regular advice on how to improve your Internet facility and maximise profits.
  
• A Log-In page dedicated to your business when your client enters the Hot Spot

How does the system work?

Your customers can use the system by using Access voucher that you sell them, or they can pay by debit or credit card.

They open their laptop PC and start their Web Browser program (such as Internet Explorer). They then choose the payment method (i.e voucher, card or PayPal). The Internet is immediately available to them. They can use the facility until the duration purchased expires.

As customers may not have their laptop PCs with them, we can also provide new or refurbished laptops for you to rent to them.

We have a simple pricing structure shown in the panel below.

Currently, some Internet Cafes charge up to £4 per hour for this service. What you charge is your decision.

You may also consider offering this as a free service to attract more business.

As use of the Hot Spot is ticket or card-based, only customers that purchase time can use the system.

Our Hot Spot Gateway is maintenance free. However, should a problem occur you can contact our help desk for immediate help. If it cannot be resolved over the phone, we will replace any defective equipment and have you up and running again within 24 hours.

Pre-requisites:

• Our only pre-requisite is that Broadband must be installed

Note: If the Broadband connection is not on a dedicated telephone line, some extra installation costs may be incurred due to additional equipment and time required.

Other options:

• If you wish to provide an internet hotspot with free usage, we can supply and install the hardware and offer a support package.
• We can also supply a gateway with ticket printer. Price on application.

Hot Spot Server system

The Simple Hot Spot Gateway is ideal for hotel lobby or reception areas. However, if you are looking for more coverage, such as all rooms of a hotel, our Hot Spot Server System is the perfect solution. This is a built-to-order system that has a much wider range and could with additional access points cover the whole establishment and grounds.
